Meetings & Corporate Retreats

A private conference room, twelve suites, and a hot spring at the end of the day.

Can you host a corporate retreat in Lava Hot Springs?

Yes. The Suites of Lava Hot Springs has a private conference room and twelve guest suites in one downtown building, which makes it workable for leadership retreats, planning sessions, and small team offsites. Everyone stays and meets in the same place.

What is in the conference room?

The room seats eight comfortably around a single table, with a wall-mounted marker board and a kitchenette. It is private to your group for the duration of your booking. The building is small enough that a group effectively has it to themselves — no shared lobby, no hallway traffic.

What does the conference room cost?

The conference room is $60 per day plus tax, booked alongside your suites. That is meeting space for a full working day at less than the price of one night in a room, which is the main reason teams end up here rather than at a hotel conference package.

Why hold an offsite here rather than a hotel conference room?

A conference room in a chain hotel is not really an offsite. People check email, someone drives back for a call, and the day loses its edge by mid-afternoon. Lava Hot Springs is a small town with a walkable downtown and not much to slip away to. The hot pools are a short walk from the building, which turns out to be a better end to a hard day of planning than a hotel bar.

How many people can you accommodate?

Individual suites sleep between two and six. Four pairs connect through interior doors with bolt locks on both sides — Suites 3 and 4, 5 and 6, 9 and 10, and 11 and 12 — so teams can book adjoining rooms. Across all twelve suites we can host roughly 44 people, though the conference room itself is sized for eight.

What does a two-day offsite look like here?

Most groups arrive the evening before, work two full days, and leave the following morning — two nights of lodging and two days of meeting space. Seven of our suites have full kitchens, so teams often handle breakfast in-house and walk to restaurants downtown for lunch and dinner.

How far is Lava Hot Springs from the nearest cities?

About 40 minutes from Pocatello, an hour and a half from Idaho Falls, and roughly two and a half hours from Salt Lake City. Close enough for a regional team to drive in the morning, far enough that nobody is tempted to commute home mid-retreat.

For EOS Implementers and facilitators

If you run Annual Planning sessions or quarterlies, this is a repeatable venue rather than a one-off. Two-day annuals and single-day quarterlies both fit the space, and once a client team has been here the following sessions book without a venue search. Get in touch about holding recurring dates.

Booking a group stay

Call (208) 851-1463 or email brittney@suitesoflava.com and we will check availability across the suites and the conference room together. We can hold tentative dates while your team or client confirms.

Note: the conference building shares restroom facilities, which is why group bookings are built around suite reservations — every suite has its own private bathroom for your team.
